The objective of art is the search for beauty in its different manifestations. Art is the faithful testimony of that great human work that we call culture. Gnosis is present in all the great works of universal literature, in the works of the masters of music, painting, sculpture and architecture.
We find gnostic art in the archaic settlements, in the pyramids and old obelisks of the Egypt of the pharaohs; in ancient Mexico, amidst the Mayans and the Aztecs, Zapotecs, Toltecs, etc. archeological remains; amidst the old Chinese, medieval, Phoenician, Assyrian, etc. parchments; in the hieroglyphs and bas-relieves of the ancient cultures; in the paintings and sculptures of the Renaissance; in the music of Beethoven, Mozart, Liszt, Wagner; in the great works of universal literature, in the Iliad and the Odyssey of Homer, in Dante’s Divine Comedy and in many others, that contain the same principles of universal wisdom, presented in diverse forms and sometimes occult amidst the veil of philosophical symbolism.
There exist two types of art: first is subjective art, expression of a conditioned conscience; second, the regal art of nature, a transcendental art that reflects the wisdom of the universe.
Without art as testimony, the philosophy, the science and the mysticism of our ancestors wouldn’t have been able to reach us. Gnosis unveils the symbolism with which they are covered, showing us the cosmic truth that they hide. Please enjoy the following artwork.
